Bad Blogger!

Yep… that’s me! Man, I’m really bad at being consistent with this! LOL  This week’s been kind of crazy, but I’m back on track tomorrow, I promise! I’m so very excited to announce the new members of my CT! I haven’t sent replies back to anyone who applied yet, so that’s on the top of my “to-do” list tomorrow. I tried to keep everything as organized as possible, so if you any of you that applied don’t receive an email from me by tomorrow night, then I apologize in advance, and please let me know as I don’t want to miss any of you

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day! This totally snuck up on me, and I didn’t even remember it was St. Pat’s Day until I noticed everyone sporting the green. My bad… I’m part Irish, too! This holiday was much more fun in my 20’s

New Designer Contest!

Over the weekend I decided to enter the new designer contest at Purple Paper Flowers, and the competition has already started! For the first challenge, all of the entrants had to design a mini-kit consisting of 4 papers, and 4 elements – the only requirement was that it was based around the theme of circles, doodles & dots. My favorites!! I’m really proud of what I created for this challenge, and there’s some other really great entries as well, so be sure to check it out

The voting is based on a rating system, and you can rate each of the entries on a scale of 1 – 10 (10 being the best). If you’ve got a few minutes to spare, head on over to the Design Challenge #1 Gallery at Purple Paper Flowers, check out the contest entries, and rate each of the entries. You’ll need to register at the forums first, otherwise you won’t be able to view any of the gallery entries, but registering is quick and painless

My mini-kit isn’t available as a freebie download yet, but more than likely will be at some point during this contest. More to come on that later. Thanks for checking it out!

Blinkie Contest winner!…..

I’m so sorry I didn’t have a chance to post this at 7pm like I’d promised, but my little one wasn’t being very cooperative tonight. Anyway – the winner of my grand opening blinkie contest is shell!! A few tidbits…

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting as regularly as I’d hoped lately – still catching up from the holidays and all I guess. I have a few exciting announcements to make though!

~ My new store at Stone Accents Studio is really coming together! There’s 20 different items already listed, with several more in the works.

~ I have finalized my Grand Opening plans, and the festivities will begin this Wednesday, the 9th and continue until Sunday, the 13th. I will be posting more details for the sale later on today, so stay tuned

~ I’ve received a couple dozen applications already for my CT Call, and I’m totally thrilled with the responses! The only problem is that I would love to hire every single person that’s applied so far because I think each one of them would be a great asset to my team, each in their own way. The only problem with that is I feel the need to start out with a relatively small team until I get the feel for how things are going to flow. I’ve decided to cut my CT Call a little short, so I’ll be moving the deadline up to the 11th (Friday). With all of the quality responses I’ve already received there’s no need to wait that long to get started! I plan on announcing my new team this weekend How exciting!!

Well, since it’s after midnight I’m going to close for now, but will be back later on today with a bunch of things from Grand Opening details, new LO’s I’ve done with my kits, previews of my newest kits never before seen on this blog, and details of the SAS CT Call for the store CT team.

‘Night!

A few days early, but Happy Holidays!

I wanted to take a quick moment to wish each and every one of you very Happy Holidays!! I don’t think I’ll get a chance to post anything again until after Christmas, as it’s a little crazy here! My brother’s coming tomorrow night, then my in-laws come on Saturday and will be with us for a week. It will be great fun for Ben to have his grandparents here for his first “real” Christmas. Officially his first Xmas was last year, but since he was only 9 months old, he didn’t understand a single thing about it. Now that he’s 21 months, he definitely knows that something’s going on. Every morning when we come downstairs he says “Tweeee!!” and excitedly points to the tree, dancing in front of it until I plug in the lights. Once the tree is lit he then gives me a standing ovation. Sometimes he’s just so stinkin’ cute I can’t believe I get to keep him    

I am really hoping to get my new “store” at SAS up and running as soon as possible, but with the holidays I think it will realistically be after the holidays before I officially launch. I’ve been working on a brand spankin’ new kit for my new store. I’m keeping the details of this one under wraps for the moment, but I will tell you that it’s going to be bright & fun, and a little different than the kits I’ve done so far. Have to have some diversity, right?

I hope that everyone gets to really enjoy the spirit of the season and enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. Warmest wishes from my family to yours, and Happy Festivus for the Rest of Us!

Busy designing the Round #2 Kit!

I was so excited to learn that it was a holiday theme! I’ve been working on a Christmas kit for a few weeks now and finally was able to sit down and get it finalized. I’m really trying to make each of my kits very versatile and cohesive, so I have been making a lot of adjustments to this one. I’m almost ready to submit it though, and I can’t wait! I have already started putting together some add-on kits for all of you for this weekend, too. I will be posting the first one some time on Friday, along with a reminder to please vote! I’m really looking forward to seeing all of the other contest entries as this is such a broad category. Good thing for all of you is that the kits will be available as freebies on Friday, too. Great timing for the holidays!

Please be sure to check back on Friday for the first of my add-on kits to my top secret contest entry. Although it’s only top secret until I submit it to the contest which should be Thursday morning at the very latest.
