Grand Opening Sale postponed until Tuesday….

Bad timing on my part for my Grand Opening Sale at Digital Candy! Due to the huge increase in site traffic, digital candy is currently down until Tuesday, while it moves to a larger server. Don’t know what I’ll do without my daily candy fix! Not to worry though, as soon as the new server is up & running, my sale is back on! In the mean time, I think I’ll make some free goodies for all of you to celebrate my opening Stay tuned….

Exciting News…..

I’ve expanded! I’m now a “Candy Girl” and have just opened a second store at Digital Candy! This is such a sweet shop & community, with a wonderful Design Team. I’m so happy to now be a part of it! I’ve been working like crazy all week getting my kits ready for this store. Almost all of my kits to date are now available in the shop. Still have a few more to go, but the majority of them are there. My newest kit, “Desert Gems” has been added to the new store. I’m so excited about how this kit turned out. What began as a mini kit (and some of you received a few of these items in a freebie!) for the designer contest last month, is now a fully expanded, well-rounded gorgeous kit! The full kit includes the paper pack, element pack and alpha – all of which are also available separately. I hope everyone had a great Easter! We had some of my family here, and Ben had such a great time with his first real egg hunt (he was too little last year). Can’t wait to get some of the pics scrapped! Just a quick post tonight with a few things…

Wow…. what a great start to the Spring season yesterday was! All of the SAS-y ladies had so much fun hosting our blog party and really appreciate all of the people who snagged goodies! Thank you so much for all of the sweet and thoughtful comments that you left here & on 4shared – it’s really appreciated!   There’s some super speedy scrappers (man you’re fast!) who have already posted layouts in the SAS gallery created with this kit, too!   Since some people on dial-up and with slower connections were having difficulty downloading all of the parts to the kit – it’s going to be available for a longer period of time for you My portion of the kit will be up until at least next Friday so anyone who wants it will have a chance to download it.

Happy 2nd Birthday Ben! Freebie Alpha, layouts & more….

Well, today’s the day! Happy Birthday to my little guy! We’re going to go to all of his favorite places today – including the library (he gets so upset if we drive past it  and don’t actually stop there…), the big playground (not just the small one closest to our house), and Cold Stone Creamery (ok….he may not care that much – but can’t pass on an opportunity for cake batter ice cream, right?!), and tomorrow we’ve got a full day planned for him in DC, as he loves hopping on the metro. The idea of my BennyMac kit began as being a train theme, but soon evolved into the birthday kit that it now is. I’ll be posting an add-on kit in my store next week consisting of the train items you see here, as well as some additional ones, too. This includes a full alpha (distressed metal, with a red bandana print – full lowercase letter set, punctuation, and 0-9), train tracks, RR crossing sign, train engine, boxcar, word art, frames, & more! A few of the items used in my layout are from the BennyMac full kit.  Everyone who submits a layout for my contest will receive this add-on kit for free before it’s even available in my store!
