Happy Black Friday! and a Freebie!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Ours was pretty wonderful – minus me cooking the turkey upside down – seriously… it had a flat top, and never would have sat flat any other way, so I had no idea that it was upside down! There were a few other cooking mishaps that I’ll just attribute to pregnancy brain, and say that all in all our dinner was great!

Sale news!

I can’t believe it’s almost Thanksgiving! This week marks my halfway point in the pregnancy, and I’m getting way too excited already! Have been feeling the little guy kick like crazy lately, which is always a comforting feeling Tomorrow I’m starting some of the prep work for the big turkey dinner, which is something else I’m really looking forward to. I love cooking – and any excuse to cook for an audience is just fine in my book! My in-laws will be here for almost a week, so will be doing a lot of cooking over the next few days. I hope that all of you that celebrate Thanksgiving have a great day!

Shop News

I’m happy to say that I just finished creating a HUGE grab bag, so guess my mojo’s back! My CT is busy working with it right now, and will be releasing it at both of my shops mid-week next week so it’s in the store in time for the holiday and Black Friday.  I promise that there’s something in there for everyone-  little bit winter… little bit Christmas…. lots of extras… and now I’m going to stop giving hints Will be posting more about it next week!

Oh Boy!

My designing mojo has certainly taken a hit ever since I found out I was pregnant. This pregnancy has felt so different than when I was pregnant with our son, so I was convinced that this would be a girl. Well… according to the amazing 3D ultrasound we had on Monday, I was completely wrong. Evidently it’s going to be a BOY!! Here’s a LO I did last night for the Speed Scrap at Scrap Matters using some of the ultrasound pictures. They didn’t come out as clear as I’d hoped since I had to scan them in, but I think he still looks super cute!

Most of the items used in this LO were from Jofia Devoe’s “Not Very Serious” kit. “Boy” alpha is recolored by Britt-ish Designs, and the background paper and pewter date tags are by me

DC Speed Scrap

Michelle (MickeyB Designs) and I are hosting our monthly Speed Scrap at Digital Candy on Friday, the 21st at 9pm this month. We’ve got a cute mini kit in the works that you get for free just for participating, so hope you’ll join in on the fun! More details next week!
